Police executed a search warrant on a room at the Colonnade Inn on April 2 and found illegal drugs. According to a report by Officer Jason Harris, the warrant to search Room 119 was part of an investigation that he began earlier. He found 13.7 grams of heroin, 4.0 grams of crack/cocaine, and a regulated depressant that was not prescribed to the room’s tenant, Gina Barrette, 28, of Lyndon. At the time the officer performed the search, Barrette was not in the room. He found her on Tuesday and arrested her. After processing her on allegations of heroin trafficking, possession of crack/cocaine, possession of a depressant, and violating conditions of release, Officer Harris cited her to appear in Caledonia Superior Court on Monday.
