Vermont State Police are investigating a reported ATM break-in at 802 Credit Union in Rochester that resulted in the theft of $18,420.

Police said the incident occurred at the credit union, 96 N. Main St., between 10 p.m. and midnight on Sunday, Aug. 30. The report was made to the Royalton Barracks at 12:47 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31.
The case is being investigated as grand larceny and access to a computer for fraudulent purposes. Police said a male seen in connection with the incident was wearing a red hoodie and black pants.
