A fire at the Littleton Wastewater Treatment Plant on Friday destroyed a back-up pump system and caused approximately $150,000 in damage. Littleton Fire was dispatched to the wastewater treatment plant located at 323 Meadow St. at around 8:30 p.m. and arrived to find a 400-square-foot building was fully engulfed. They took a defensive posture and protected surrounding structures. No injuries were reported and the incident remains under investigation.
